Cleantech Forum Europe

x
From Monday 27 April 2015 -  08:00am
To Wednesday 29 April 2015 - 05:00pm

This annual event offers a comprehensive, multi-day program that provides exclusive opportunities to learn, network, and get deals done.

Now in its 11th edition, Cleantech Forum Europe will go to Italy for the first time in 2015. Italy is one of Europe’s largest and most heavily industrialised manufacturing economies. Like many European countries, it is striving to achieve a new kind of re-invention towards a different and more sustainable future.

EBTC will be at a special session on 'Help for SMEs in Internationalization' alongside other EU programmes.

One of the biggest challenges for European SMEs is how to find and develop commercial opportunities in far-away growth markets. Another could be described as, “What are all the programs run by the European Commission to help (eco-innovation) SMEs that you could take advantage of?”This seminar-style session is designed to help on both fronts.

For those particularly interested in Asian and Latin American markets, representatives from a number of EU-funded programs to give you (especially, but not exclusively, CEOs) the opportunity to spend some informal time with experts each hosting a roundtable. Alongside the European Business and Technology Center (EBTC) in India;the EU SME Centre in China; andthe Mercosur IPR SME Helpdesk, and the EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) will have a confiemd presence.

As the European Union plays a major role in co-funding these internationalisation initiatives, it is important for businesses to identify and understand how to benefit from them. The session is an extended 90 minutes (starting during the lunch break) to allow delegates to spend time at 3-4 of the roundtables, time enough to have an initial conversation and, more importantly, to make the connection for future follow-up.
